Orders and changes

How long will my order take to be made?

Each piece is handmade to order and takes about 4-6weeks to be made and shipped. This time frame may vary slightly during busy periods, but the aim is to dispatch your pieces as quickly as possible.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because each garment is made to order, changes or cancellations are only possible if production has not yet started. Email hello@emitota.com as soon as possible with your order number and request. I will confirm if the change is possible. If production has already started, I may not be able to cancel.

Can I speed up my order?

If you need an item faster, contact hello@emitota.com. I will check the studio schedule and let you know if this can be accommodated. Extra fees may apply.

Who makes my clothes?

Every piece is designed and made by me - Mitota in my studio. I sketch, draft patterns, cut, stitch and finish each garment by hand.

Are your pieces limited?

Each design is available in small runs, made to order only. This keeps production thoughtful and helps limit waste.

Do you accept custom measurements?

Yes. Custom measurements are accepted. Email hello@emitota.com for further information.

Shipping and delivery

What are your shipping rates?

Orders over £500 in the UK ship for free. Shipping fees are charged a flat rate of £5.99. Once your order is handed over to the shipping carrier, Emitota is no longer responsible for delivery delays, lost or stolen packages, packages marked as "delivered" but not received, damage that occurs in transit. Please contact the shipping carrier directly with your tracking number for updates or claims. However, if you need help navigating an issue, please reach out and I will do my best to support you.

How long does delivery take?

After production and dispatch, UK deliveries typically arrive within 3-7 business days. You will receive tracking information when your order ships.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Yes. International shipping rates and delivery times vary by country. Contact hello@emitota.com before ordering for a quote and estimated delivery time. Please note, it is the customers responsibility to cover the custom fees that might be incurred when shipping internationally. When the order enters your country, the courier will be in touch with updates.

How do I track my order?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order is dispatched. If you do not receive tracking information, email hello@emitota.com.

Returns and exchanges

What if my item is faulty?

If your garment arrives faulty, please email hello@emitota.com within 48hours of delivery with photographic evidence, your order number and a brief description of the problem. This will be resolved on a case to case basis.

Can I return a piece because I changed my mind?

All Emitota pieces are handcrafted and made to order. Because each item is created specifically for you, refunds, returns and exchanges are not offered. Please ensure you carefully review sizing, product details and processing times before placing your order. If you are unsure about your size, please send an email to hello@emitota.com for guidance.
